▸　Exact Optimization and Optimal Control

摘要 Abstract
❝　This talk consists of two parts, which deal with control and optimization, respectively. On the one hand, control is at the heart of the Information and Communication Technologies to most application domains. Among various control system designs, the state-dependent Riccati equation approach for nonlinear optimal control has recently attracted considerable attention, with a variety of - guaranteed or promising - capabilities and many successful real applications. On the other hand, optimization is a topic of great importance and broad significance across numerous fields, but usually they pose challenging optimization problems for humans/machines, notably, computational issues that have been expected for enhancement. Accordingly, nonlinear programming is explicitly analyzed via a novel perspective/method and from a bottom-up manner, namely "Exact Optimization" rather than the classical "Numerical Optimization".　 ❞
