工學院自110學年度起執行教育部推動之「大專校院學生雙語化學習計畫」。為提升學生修讀英語授課專業課程的學習成效並鼓勵學生依其所需增進英語能力及參加相關檢定測驗，本院訂定辦法，提供學生參加英語能力檢定測驗費用補助。
CoE has implemented the program of Bilingual Education for Students in college promoted by the Ministry of Education since the 110th academic year. To enhance students' learning effectiveness in English-taught professional courses and encourage them to improve English proficiency and take related tests according to their needs, CoE has formulated a method to provide subsidies for students to participate in the English Proficiency Test.

 

即日起，院辦公室分二階段受理本學年度「工學院學生參加英語能力檢定測驗補助」之申請。工學院大學部及研究所在學學生凡於111學年度（111.07.20 ~ 112.07.20）報名參加並且完成英語能力檢定測驗，皆可於開放申請期間內提出相關文件至院辦公室申請補助。
From now on, CoE will accept the application for the "Subsidy for CoE Students Participated in the English Proficiency Test" for this academic year in two batches. The present students enrolled in the College of Engineering and who complete the English proficiency test during the 111th academic year (111.07.20 ~ 112.07.20) can submit relevant documents to the CoE office to apply for subsidies during the open application period.

 

【適用對象 Suitable】
工學院在學學生（大學部及研究所學生；母語為英語之學生不列採計）。
Present Student of CoE (apart from whose native language is English).

 

【補助金額 Subsidy amount】
補助英語能力檢定測驗報名費之50%，上限為2,000元；如已獲得本校英語教育中心補助，本院扣除英語教育中心補助之金額再酌予補助，即校內兩單位之補助總額不得超過實際英語檢定測驗報名費。
Subsidize 50% of the Fee for the English Proficiency Test, with a maximum of NTD 2,000; If you have already received the subsidy from the Center of English Education of NTHU, we will deduct the amount of the subsidy from the Center of English Education and then grant the subsidy at your discretion, that is, the total subsidy from the two units in the university shall not exceed the actual registration fee for the English test.

【申請方式 How to Apply】
於期限內，繳交申請表，檢附相關資料正本及影本（正本於查驗之後歸還，影本留存備查），至院辦公室提出申請：

1. 申請表正本
2. 學生證正本及正反面影本
3. 英語能力檢定測驗報名費收據正本及影本（如無收據，敬請向考試單位申請補發繳費證明）
4. 英語能力檢定測驗成績單正本及影本（成績單呈現之姓名若為英文，敬請提供相關證件，例如：護照，以便查證）

Within the due date, submit the application form, and attach the original and copies of relevant materials (the originals will be returned after inspection, and the copies will be kept for future reference) to the CoE office:

1. The application form
2. The original and duplex photocopies of the Student ID card
3. The original and copy of the receipt for the fee for the English Proficiency Test (if there is no receipt, please apply to the organizer for a replacement payment certificate)
4. The original and copy of the English proficiency test transcript (if the name on the transcript is in English, please provide relevant documents, such as a passport for verification)

 

【注意事項 Please note】

院將分二階段受理111學年度之申請（學生報考與應試時間必須於111.07.21 ~ 112.07.20期間內）：
第一階段受理於111學年度第1學期結束前(111.07.21~112.01.31)取得英語能力檢定測驗成績者申請補助，收件期間為3月1日至3月22日（星期三）止；
第二階段優先受理於111學年度第2學期間(112.02.01~112.07.20)取得英語能力檢定測驗成績者申請補助，收件期間為5月22日至7月21日（星期五）止。

CoE will accept applications for the 111th academic year in two batches (students must apply and take the exam within 2022/07/21-2023/07/20):
The first stage accepts applications for subsidies for those who have obtained English proficiency test scores before the end of the first semester of the 111 academic year (111.07.21~112.01.31), and the acceptance period is from March 1 to March 22;
In the second stage, priority will be given to those who have obtained English proficiency test scores during the second semester of the 111 academic year (112.02.01~112.07.20) to apply for subsidies. The acceptance period is from May 22 to July 21.

每學年補助以一次為限。繳附資料若有不實，即撤銷補助資格。申請資料隨到隨審，惟入帳時間須配合本校報支流程，當年度經費用罄，即暫停補助。
The subsidy is limited to one time per academic year. If the submitted information is false, the eligibility for the subsidy will be revoked. The application materials will be reviewed as soon as they arrive, but the time of entry must be consistent with the school's reporting process. If the current year's funds are exhausted, the subsidy will be suspended.
